Joining in with the yarn along this week.
Working really hard on the mittens now, I have had to give myself a schedule and really make myself stick to it. If I do I should hopefully finish them over the weekend.
Working on a pair of socks for my nephew, he learnt to knit over the holidays and asked for a pair of green socks, a request like this cannot be refused.
Also, I am trying to design a pair of mittens for Roghan, (3 months old), obviously he doesn't really need to be able to use his hands too much so I was thinking just a long tube of ribbing which goes to his elbows and gathers over his fingers. Any ideas?

Your mitten is so pretty! I like the idea of making a schedule, maybe I will try that!
ReplyDeleteHappy Yarn Along.
I agree on having to knit upon request. As long as they will wear the knitted item. Your knitting looks absolutely lovely :)

I made one of my kiddos thumbless mittens one year. They worked well. Here is a picture http://www.ravelry.com/projects/esmerlda27/earflap-hat
